Maternal and Child Health Services - Clinical Services

The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) section focuses upon providing preventative health care service for women, children, and families throughout Hamilton County. Our basic program goals are to: 
ensure that every individual gets a healthy start in life and

  1. Help ensure that every individual gets a healthy start in life, and
  2. Assists each individual to reach and maintain an optimum level of health into adulthood.

Fees are charged for all MCH services; however, you may be eligible for a discount on the services based upon your family size and income (sliding scale fee).

  • Birchwood Clinic
    Location: 5623 Hwy 60, Birchwood , TN
    Appointments: (423) 961-0446
  • Hours:
    Monday 8:00 – 3:00 pm
    Wednesday 8:00 – 4:00 pm
    Friday 8:00 – 3:00 pm
    Fees/payments: TennCare accepted; Sliding scale fee services offered.

    Services Offered:
    • WIC, childhood immunizations
    • Newborn genetic screenings (PKU, Sickle Cell Anemia, Thalassimia, Hypothyroidism, Biotinidase Deficiency)
    • Examination for Pediculosis (head lice)
    • Pregnancy testing
    • Family planning
    • Emergency contraception
    • Routine adult immunizations (MMR, Td)
    • Primary Care for families
    • Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program
    • Dental.

 

  • Family Health Clinic
    Location: 921 E. Third Street, Chattanooga

    Hours: Monday - Thursday8:00 – 5:00pm
    Friday9:00 – 4:00 pm
    Fees/Payments: TennCare accepted; Sliding scale fee
    services offered.

    Pediatric Area:

    • Newborn genetic screenings (PKU, Sickle Cell Anemia, Thalassimia, Hypothyroidism)
    • Examination for head lice
    • Immigration physicals for children

    Adult/Prenatal Area:

    • Pregnancy testing
    • Family Planning
    • Emergency contraception
    • Prenatal Care - Basic & Full Levels
    • Adult routine immunizations (MMR, Td)
    • Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program.

 

  • Ooltewah Clinic
    Location: 5520 High Street, Ooltewah, TN

    Hours: Monday 8:00 – 6:00 pm
    Tuesdays - Thursday 8:00 – 4:00 pm
    Friday 9:00 – 4:00 pm
