In addition to the above regular inspections, an inspection is done on any complaint received in the Environmental Health Office. Previous to opening a new establishment, contact should be made with an environmentalist for consultation, advice, and plan review if required.

General Sanitation
- Complaints received by our office of garbage, trash, debris, or safety hazards in areas outside the city limits, are written up for response by an inspector.
- When necessary, the inspector will send a notice or will consult with the owner for abatement of the problem.
- Any severe health and safety hazard within the county that is not addressed by the owner will be referred to the Health and Safety Hearing Board.
