Help Us Grow Successfully (HUGS) is a home-based prevention and intervention program that provides services to prenatal/postpartum women, children birth through age 5, and parent/guardian of these families.
The goals of the program are:

To improve pregnancy outcomes

To improve maternal and child health and wellness
-
To improve child development
-
To maintain or improve family strengths
To achieve these goals, home visitors form a unique and voluntary relationship with a family with identified needs. The home visitors provide education and connect families with resources in their communities.

Who is Eligible for HUGS?

Pregnant teens and women
-
Postpartum teens and women
-
Children birth through 5 years of age
-
Parent/Guardian of children under age 6
-
Women who had death of a child less than 2 years of age |

How to Make a Referral:
There are no financial guidelines. Referrals are made by calling (423) 209-8080 or faxing a referral to (423) 209-8156. Referrals are made by physicians, hospitals, social agencies, clinics, family members and individuals.
