In an effort to reduce motor vehicle injuries and deaths among children, the Hamilton County Health Department offers a Child Safety Seat Distribution Program available to eligible community residents. This program provides educational information, hands-on demonstration of correct usage, information on child safety seat graduation time, and crash dynamics. The car seat distribution classes are by appointment only. Please call: 423-209-8204 to make an appointment.
Qualifications for the program are:
· Primary Caregiver or Parent
· Resident of Hamilton County
· Receive WIC, TennCare, SNAP, or Medicaid.
